Every leader has a vision.

A stronger organization. A smoother operation. A message that reaches the right people. An event that comes together well. There comes a point in this work when the mission is still important, but the weight of carrying it starts to feel heavier than it should.

Early in her career, Erin found herself supporting executives and organizational leaders who were carrying big visions, full calendars, high expectations, and responsibilities that reached far beyond a job description. She saw what leadership required up close: the decisions, the pressure, the constant follow-up, the need to protect the team, and the quiet responsibility of keeping everything moving.

At first, her role was to support that weight from behind the scenes.

She helped with the details. The communication. The coordination. The tasks that made the larger work possible. She learned how much relief the right kind of support could bring to a leader who was trying to keep their focus on the mission.

Over time, Erin’s own roles began to grow.

She found herself managing projects, leading teams, coordinating moving pieces, solving problems, meeting deadlines, and carrying the same kind of pressure she had once helped others navigate. The work was meaningful, but it was also heavy. There were moments of burnout. Moments of wondering how much one person could reasonably hold. Moments of realizing that the leaders, colleagues, and peers around her were feeling the same thing too.

Erin saw how often good people were expected to do a lot with very little. Leaders were building programs, serving communities, managing teams, writing messages, planning events, chasing deadlines, and still trying to make sure everyone else felt recognized.

And that question stayed with her:

Who celebrates the people who are always celebrating everyone else?

Erin has had mentors she deeply admires. Some she has been able to support directly. Others she has watched from a distance, wondering how they held everything together with such grace. What she came to understand is that even the strongest leaders need someone steady behind them. Someone who sees the details. Someone who can close the loops. Someone who can step in before the small things become heavy.

That belief became the foundation of Double You.

Double You was created to support good people doing good work. It exists for the executive, founder, nonprofit leader, small business owner, or community builder who has a vision but does not always have the capacity to carry every task alone.
